Joys of May 4, 2009
1. Watching the last 30 minutes of “She All That” twice today
2. Spending the WHOLE day at the Beach for MAY DAY!
3. Having one of the other Volunteers that I have not seen about 1.5 weeks meet us at the beach!
4. KFC Popcorn Chicken
5. The simple adventures of the day
6. Not getting car sick on the way up or home from the north of the island
7. Sleeping in freshly clean- freshly aired dried sheets
8. Fresh Papaw (Papaya) that was picked from the tree yesterday

The picture above is from my Grade 4 and Pre-K reading project I have started. “Big Readers, Little Listeners.” The Grade 4 students read to the Pre-K students in small groups for about 30 minutes once a week to help raise the literacy rate.
